Bloated Systems From Too Much Software

Personal and company bloated systems is something to consider these can slow systems down but also increase time to complete certain jobs.

Bloated systems

Software is the mot essential part of business operations and it is needed to function on a day to day basis. However there is scenarios where too much of a good thing complicates business functions and processes. Personal installations such as mobile phone apps can bloat and slow phone usage down and also gather data.

Microsoft

Microsoft offer a integrated solution enabling all systems such as teams, outlook etc. to intertwine allowing a more effective use. Some systems outside of Microsoft such as Jira also allow linking into Microsoft with Single Sign On being a key part of many businesses to reduce risk and allow ease of access.

Communication

Communication is another area with a lot of bloat this is due to companies often not controlling what they use this leaves information scattered throughout channels. Reducing the use of communication applications can help increase effectiveness and improve security.

Personal use

Personal phones and computers can often get over crowded with software especially if it boots on start meaning he power up is slowed down for the device. Reducing what you install and specifically targeting what launches on boot up is important to increase performance. Some mobile software does communicate with others this means more data can be collected and stored this does slow down device run speed and is something else to consider.

Management

Managing applications is important and removing and restricting how they operate is important. Something to consider is a review of what is being used and if it is needed as agile companies can often tie themselves up with overcomplication.
