As part of a larger organisation there wasn’t a requirement to have our own certification but in more recent times we began to recognise that it was important for us that we have our own, specific ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 independently certified management system.
We were looking for a local reputable business and a company that could meet our very tight deadline. After researching, we came across Synergos Consultancy who provided a comprehensive proposal and a clear outline on how they would meet our deadline for being recommended for certification to the integrated quality and environmental management system.
As the implementation process occurred during lock down of COVID-19, the entire project was carried out remotely. This was an excellent and positive experience and did not hinder the fast-approaching deadline. Having ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 will allow us to improve our internal processes and gain access to relevant supply chains and frameworks.
