Sponsored Skydive for the Children’s Air Ambulance

We are proud to announce that two of our Synergos team members, Alex Cunningham, Information Security Specialist and Jeremy Palfreeman, Compliance Support Specialist will be taking to the skies in the ‘Keeping Hope Alive Yorkshire Skydive’ in July 2023.

We caught up with both Alex and Jeremy to find out how they were both feeling about the next month’s skydive:

“Excited with a little bit of fear, it’s for a good cause and should be fun. I can’t wait to jump.“ said Alex Cunningham.

“I am absolutely terrified, but excited at the exact same time!” said Jeremy Palfreeman.

The ‘Keeping Hope Alive Yorkshire Skydive’ is a 10,000 ft. Tandem Skydive. The purpose of the skydive is to raise money for the Children’s Air Ambulance. The Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital transfer service that flys seriously ill babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care. If a child is too sick to fly, then the Children’s Air Ambulance can fly a specialist team directly to them. With their ability to travel approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, they can minimise travel times and the risk for little patients.

The Children’s Air Ambulance is changing the face of paediatric care through the high-speed transfer of critically ill babies and children. This free-of-charge service is currently working alongside the NHS transport teams to help fly paediatric patients to specialist treatment. The Children’s Air Ambulance is the country’s first and only dedicated paediatric helicopter emergency transfer service.
