Ukraine has attacked Russian cinemas disrupting showing and undermining and annoying the population.
Russian cinemas DDOS
Cinemas were DDOS attacked by the Ukrainian IT army around 80 cinemas were disrupted. Flooding websites and ruining the functionality of key systems has cause disruption for the Russian population. The idea around this is the less money the cinemas make the less money the government has to fund the war.

The note reads as “Thanks to you, the sites of Russian cinemas rested for the weekend. Less tickets bought online mean less money in the budget for financing the war. Today we are returning all power to the attack on logistics of the Russian federation,”.
Russian Cinema
Russian cinema is known for propaganda with the famous footage of Putin riding a horse. Sanctions took away a lot of contemporary cinema as a result Russian cinemas started showing more propaganda alongside using pirated western releases. This has lead to the Ukrainian IT Army to take down their entire cinema for the weekend undermining the country.
Ramifications
The declaration of Cyber War is not far from a conventional war, it often has similar costs with the exception of life. Cyber War has a large cost to countries removing key aspects of infrastructure and being able to affect economies has a lasting affect during the war and post war. As we are moving more and more to digital for all means these will be inherently at more risk.
