How relevant is Artificial Intelligence (AI) to my small business.

Walmart and Amazon drive business transformation with Artificial Intelligence (AI), but what’s the relevance to a small business like mine?

Corporate business’ are embedding this into their operations but when I speak to small and medium enterprises, like ours, we are left wondering, why should we be using AI and just as important, how we should be using it to drive business growth.

I attended a business growth masterclass recently and a phrase branded around was ‘data analytics drives decision making’.  Some of the decisions we make in our business, comes to us naturally.  For example, financial monitoring – cash in and cash out; customer retention or even an employee performance are all measures to help us make decisions.

Everyone is looking to drive value and efficiencies.  Just imagine for a moment, using AI to help you conquer this within your own operations.  You can use generative AI and analytics to learn from and as a result make faster decisions, improve response times and even improve service delivery.  The improvements and rewards are endless.

As a small business, AI isn’t something to be scared of, it is something that we need to embrace because I will confidently say, it is not going away.  That said, your team remain important and should be guided to understand the importance and benefits how using AI can enhance their roles.

Why not give it a go but remember, your own professional judgement should not be overlooked.  I’m sure you have heard the story of the driver whose Satnav said ‘continue straight ahead’ as the edge of the cliff drew closer.

Do share your journey with us.  We are always keen to hear how AI has transformed business’.  Why not email us at team@synergosconsultancy.co.uk
