Built for small contractors
You do not need a full office team. SSIP is about showing you manage the risks in the work you actually carry out.
For self-employed tradespeople and small contractor teams. We help you get the health and safety paperwork in place when a customer, contractor or tender asks for it.
Has the client already told you which scheme they need? Pick that scheme. If they have simply asked for “SSIP” or “contractor accreditation”, answer three quick questions below and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Existing risk assessments, insurance, training records and method statements can all help form the starting point.
SSIP can help you respond when a builder, facilities company, housing provider or commercial client needs evidence before work starts.
If the request names CHAS, SafeContractor, Acclaim, Constructionline or Avetta, use that one. If not, the quick guide above is a good place to begin.
Usually the clearest fit for councils, housing associations, schools and public-sector style work.
Commonly seen on commercial sites, facilities work, retail jobs and hospitality contracts.
More common when you are moving into bigger building projects, supply chains and formal tendering.
Typically used by larger corporates, infrastructure businesses and utility clients with stricter controls.
Often a practical first accreditation for smaller firms or contractors new to formal approvals.

Thank you Steve and the Synergos Team. You have provided a great service. I will most certainly be in touch to cover a few more things such as site audits.
Christian Hinchcliffe, Hinchcliffe Construction
We have been very pleased with the service from Synergos Consultancy in supporting us as we went through the CHAS accreditation and re-accreditation process. It relieved us of the stress in making sure everything was in order for the deadline. Steve was always helpful and reassuring when we called or had email communication. We would highly recommend this company from the way they have handled our account in a professional and efficient manner.
